What times are the shuttle service?

Answer

Transportation from the GrandStay will be at 1:50pm and 2:40pm Transportation from the Country Inn will be at 2:00pm and 2:50pm Transportation from the Reception will begin at 10pm, on a continuous loop, until 2am

Will transportation be provided to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony by Valley Limo and Coach if you are staying at either the GrandStay Hotel & Suites - Stillwater or the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson - Stillwater. Grandstay Hotel & Suites - 1:50pm and 2:40pm. Country Inn & Suits Suites - 2:00pm and 2:50pm Please do not wait for the last shuttle to guarantee you a complimentary ride. Plan to arrive early and enjoy the Lumberjack Axe Throwing Bar in the bottom of our venue or visit Main Street just a block away and packed with a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Please make sure to be ready to be seated at the venue no later than 3:20pm for a prompt start 3:30pm.

Question

Transportation back to the hotels until 2am? I thought the Party would be over by then.

Answer

If you still have some energy left at the end of the night, Stillwater is a beautiful downtown filled with plenty of late-night bars. (We recommend No Neck Tonys for one!) We negotiated that the shuttle service will be parked outside of the JX Event Center until 2am to give everyone the opportunity to grab a drink after the wedding and get back to their hotel safely.

I plan to drive to the JX Event Center, where should I park?

Answer

There is a Stillwater Public Parking Garage located directly across from the venue. For those who don't plan to drink, it is an easy in and out. For those who drive and plan to drink it's OK to leave a car overnight at this Garage. Address: 200 2nd St N, Stillwater, MN The garage is likely free (we will confirm, check back later) otherwise the most convenient way to pay is to download the "AirGarage" app on your Android or iPhone.

I am flying into MSP, and I don't want to rent a car, what is the best way to get to Stillwater?

Answer

MSP Airport is roughly 30mi or 35min drive to Stillwater, MN If you don't plan to rent a car, we recommend using UBER or LYFT (roughly $30 to $40) for an UberX.

Are the hotels in Downtown Stillwater walking distance to the hotel?

Answer

YES! The majority of hotels in Downtown Stillwater are less than a 5 min walk to the JX Event Center. We recommend Hotel Crosby or the Lora!

What is the weather like in Minnesota during the month of April?

Answer

It's a surprise! It could be a beautiful warm day with sunshine (fingers crossed), It could be cold and snowing, or somewhere in between and raining. We recommend keeping a close eye on the weather for Stillwater MN as you get closer to the date to ensure you have the right attire for the weekend. Update as of 4/6. It's looking like it's finally spring and the weather will be beautiful!

We plan to make an extended stay in downtown Stillwater the week of your wedding with family/friends. Is it worth it?

Answer

Absolutely, Downtown Stillwater is filled with boutique shops and hotels, amazing restaurants, bars, breweries and distilleries, as well as ice cream and candy shops all along the St. Croix River. If you plan to stay with family and friends, we recommend checking out AirBnB or VRBO as they have plenty of options near downtown.

Should I bring my dancing shoes?

Answer

We will have a live band, IV Play, perform at our reception. Expect the dance floor to be alive all evening! Band Starts at 8:30, make sure you are warmed up and ready to go.
