Our Story
David and Lauren’s story began in 2023 at her sister’s wedding reception in Ontario. David arrived ready to celebrate the happy couple, but he quickly noticed the stunning maid of honour and his focus shifted. Later that evening, David and Lauren hit it off while in line for ice cream and the rest of the night was filled with laughter.
A few weeks later, David reached out on Instagram, leading to their first date: dinner, ice cream, and a walk by the river. The connection was instant as they bonded over sports, music, travel, and future plans.
Over the next two years, they made countless memories— fancy dinner dates, concerts, weeks at the cottage and trips to BC to see Lauren’s sister and brother-in-law.
In May 2025, after a perfect evening, David proposed surrounded by rose petals. Lauren said yes, followed by a surprise celebration with loved ones.
Now, they’re planning their wedding, building a home, and dreaming of the adventures ahead.
