Maid of Honor
It’s hard to believe Kortni and I have been friends for 16 years. We met freshmen year of college and quickly bonded over staying out way too late, midnight yums, bike rides, and pool parties. Over the years, our relationship has grown from friends, to best friends, to sisters. Kortni’s intense loyalty, compassion, and love for adventure is unmatched and we have quite literally been there for each other through the best and worst of times. I’m so beyond honored and excited to stand next to Kortni as her Matron of Honor as she marries the love of her life, David. As the years continue to go on, I know we will continue to live life to the fullest, full of epic adventures and unlimited tacos and margaritas. I love you Kortni and David!

Kortni and I met at hospital orientation shortly after moving to Austin in 2018. We bonded over the fact that making friends as an adult can be hard and a little awkward. As fresh Austin transplants we jumped at the opportunity to hang out with someone…anyone. We quickly learned that our “up for anything” attitudes made our friendship easy. With Kortni it’s easy to laugh, cry, love each other and of course, party! Kortni, I am so honored to stand by your side on your special day. Celebrating life with you is my favorite. I have watched you grow both independently and in your relationship with David. I’m so proud to call you my friend and I look forward to so many more memories together. Love, Ashley

“Does he ever tell you you’re not beautiful?” A classic line from my dad — and the unexpected start of one of the most meaningful friendships of my life. That moment, back in our freshman year at ASU, sparked a connection that’s lasted over 16 years and will undoubtedly last a lifetime. From late-night shenanigans and dozing off in class, to conquering nursing school side by side… From living in different states but always staying close, to unforgettable girls’ trips that kept our bond strong. We’ve grown through our wild twenties into our wiser thirties — cheering each other on through every dream, milestone, and detour. Kortni, through all the highs and lows, I’m beyond grateful that our paths crossed and stayed connected. I’m honored to stand by your side as you marry David — Congrats, you lovebirds!

Kortni and I met in 2019 when I rolled through Austin (again) on a travel nurse contract, and the friendship was instant—partly because we had the same chaotic sleep schedule and partly because she’s impossible not to love. Since then, she’s been my go-to for laughter, deep chats, and questionable dance moves (some of which made it into my own wedding, where she stood by me as my Maid of Honor). Kortni is everything you want in a best friend: kind, brilliant, beautiful inside and out, and the kind of person who can turn a regular Tuesday into a party. Even though our friendship has mostly survived on FaceTime and texts across time zones, she’s still one of the closest people in my life. I’m so excited to return the favor and stand by her side as she marries her best friend (and somehow found someone who matches her energy—miracles do happen). Let’s get these two hitched!

I met Kortni through our mutual friend (and fellow bridesmaid) Ashley, and over the last few years our friendship has grown into something so special. From ACL weekends to Waffle Wednesdays, we’ve shared countless laughs, deep talks, and memories that mean the world to me. I’m so grateful for the friendship we’ve built and feel truly honored to stand by her side as she and David begin this next chapter together.

Thrilled to have my brother marrying his perfect match. Your support, laughs, and ability to keep things light make you a great future husband. Here’s to celebrating your love for Kortni, brotherhood, and making epic memories as a family.

As David's twin brother and womb-mate, I have shared everything from birthday cakes to childhood adventures. I have witnessed every awkward phase and major milestone of David's life ranging from graduations to meeting girlfriends for the first time. I knew there was something special about Kortni the day David brought her home to meet the family. Whether it's their looks of affirmation toward each other or their little dance parties that only the two of them have, there is no one else I'd rather see my brother marry and start the next chapter of his life with. I wish nothing but the best for the two of you! P.S. I'm basically a doctor.

Well didn’t think this day would come... Let alone me writing a bio for a wedding website... who does this???? Well I’m Kortni's brother and have been for a long time. I say this, because I’m not quite sure when I stopped telling her she was adopted. As for David, heard he was a doctor, smart guy! Made the brave decision to start dating Kortni, “ahhhhh not so smart!" I've still been thinking to myself that brave man ever since! Anyhow, jokes aside couldn’t be happier for you guys! Excited to be good company and can’t wait to get the celebration going! Fun fact: "One time I wrestled a giraffe to the ground with my bare hands."
