Question

Dress Code?

Answer

We are not having a bridal party however we will take 1000's of pictures. We would like everyone to stay in a certain color range. ***Earthy Jewel Tones*** Blue (Navy), Deep Reds (Wine, Burgundy) Green (As bold as Emerald or soft as Glacial), Deep Purples. Bring ELEGANCE with your own original flare!! Don't be afraid of textures and shades within this range. *Greys (light, charcoal) and soft nudes (pinks, mauve) are acceptable. This will help with the pictures not having too many clashing colors and we can all compliment each other. Please no black attire since the ceremony will be earlier in the evening. Dress length is long, please. You may also wear shawls...it may be slightly cool. **see weather FAQS

Question

Cheapest Option?

Answer

Fly in Friday evening or early Saturday and then stay in Burlington (cheapest hotel). Ride a ferry to Orcas Island Saturday before noon then return Saturday evening after 6pm and take a late flight to avoid another hotel stay.

Question

Weather?

Answer

Expect the mornings to be around 50, afternoons as high as 75 and evenings in the 60s or even 50s. We don't expect much rain or bad weather but of course that's in God's hands. This will be an outdoor wedding so please plan accordingly.

Question

What are the plans for the couple?

Answer

We will arrive Tuesday 8/31/2021 to check in with the venue and do some sight seeing. Once everything is settled, we will visit San Juan Island and possibly Lopez Island. We will leave back for Dallas on Sunday or Monday (depending on other factors) We will be staying in Burlington until Friday evening in which we will stay on the island to avoid any issues with the ferry.
