In November of 2019, we were introduced by a mutual friend at a TCU vs. Baylor football tailgate. From there we got to see each other around campus and around Fort Worth, and in January of 2020 we began to go on dates. From the start, we enjoyed getting to know one another, grew closer as friends, and made fun memories together. We all know what happened in March of 2020...... with COVID hitting, we were sent home from TCU and got to continue getting to know each other through phone calls and facetimes. We officially started dating April of 2020. At the end of the year, we broke up, which was really hard on the both of us. In this time apart, we both grew closer to the Lord and began to experience life as postgraduates. David was working in Dallas as a consultant and Kenna was living in Branson, Missouri attending the Kanakuk Institute. Our paths crossed one Sunday in November of 2021, where David approached Kenna after a service at Watermark Community Church and we were able to reconnect. David reached out to Kenna on January 1st of 2022, and this is where we began to see God's sweet work of redemption and restoration in our relationship. When Kenna moved to Dallas in May of 2022, we officially got back together. Since then, we have gotten to experience new memories, a lot of fun, and gotten to deepen that sweet friendship that had started all the way back in 2019. Our relationship is a story of irresistible grace, redemption, and God's perfect love. We are so humbled by the kindness of the Lord to grow us, sanctify us, and draw us closer to Him throughout all of this. We cannot wait to spend forever together, being teammates who spur one another on toward Christ, living out the joy that the Lord has given us, and continuing to share the beautiful story of grace that God has given us in our own lives and in our relationship!
