We will be following whatever the current guidelines are on December 12th for Orange County, which can be found here: https://www.orangecountync.gov/2332/Coronavirus-COVID-19 Additionally, we will be asking our guests to abide by the following guidelines: - Wear masks - Socially distance - Refrain from "table-hopping" during dinner
Sadly, that is correct. Due to COVID-19, we both feel that the safest option would be to limit the explicitly "social" aspects of the reception (cocktail hour, dance party, etc) so as to reduce the risk of a gathering this size. Though not ideal, we invite you to rejoice with us in what God is nevertheless doing this day, despite the pandemic.
We're getting married at a small coffee shop in Carrboro, NC called Johnny's Gone Fishing (a.k.a. "Johnny's). Johnny's has been a staple in the Carrboro community for the past 20 years, and it's been one of our favorite spots since coming to the area. It's also where David worked for 2 years while in college. See a picture of the shop at the top of this page!
Yes - please dress warmly! The wedding and dinner will both be outside, and though we are going to do our best by having heaters and coffee on hand, it's still mid-December and could be cold. You've been warned!
