We skied here for our first 5 winters in Utah. It's gorgeous and underrated! It's a bit longer drive than the SLC area resorts, but definitely worth it. A good option if you prefer a later start or if the traction laws are in effect in the Cottonwood canyons.
Brighton is probably the best resort for beginners. Parking fills up fast so make sure you get there early, before it opens. They also have night skiing!
The least crowded resort in the area and good for intermediate skiiers/snowboarders. Parking is paid but the prices decreases with each additional person in the car.
One of the most popular resorts in Utah and skiers only. Parking reservations are required ($25) and the parking lots don't open until 8am.
Another one of the most popular resorts in Utah. Parking is free but you have to get there very early for a spot. It's best for advanced skiers/snowboarders.
