Kellie was out for drinks with her friends Meghan and Joanna, and the three girls were collectively Facebook stalking a man named "David Porter." After her friends confirmed that he was indeed, "so cute", Meghan and Joanna departed, but Kellie went to meet some other girlfriends for a final nightcap. Much to Kellie's surprise, when she arrived to meet Sarah, Lexi, and Lyss, they were not alone. Low and behold, there at the table sat the man Kellie had been Facebook stalking just a few short hours before. You see, while Sarah had told Kellie to meet them for a "girls' night," Sarah's husband Phil had told his friend David to come meet him for a "guys' night." The set up worked. At the end of the night, David asked for Kellie's number. They've been together for seven and a half years.

After David and Kellie met, they spent almost everyday of the next three months together before Kellie left to work abroad in Central America for graduate school. The plan was for her to come home three months later. But while she was away, she got the job offer of a lifetime. Kellie called David and told him instead of returning to Youngstown in a few weeks, she was coming home early so that she could move to Denver, Colorado. She flew home a few days later and had 24 hours in Youngstown before she moved. Those 24 hours were very special to Kellie and David, and they spent every bit of of it together. That night, they hosted a going away party dearest of their friends, and David gave Kellie a letter. He said he wanted to stay together, because he saw her as his wife. What they had built in three short months seemed too good to give up. Kellie agreed. During the first year and a half of dating, Kellie and David talked everyday, but only saw each other a handful of times. After living 1,400 miles apart, and multiple months long international trips, David and Kellie moved in together and never looked back.
We are forever indebted to the friends and family who have stood by our side, those we have lost, and those who lied to us and tricked us into meeting. We would not be who we are today, together, without any of you.
