Katelynn and David met in the summer of 2016 while working at their local water park. David was a lifeguard, Katelynn a groundskeeper, and a simple Instagram message asking if he worked that day sparked what would become something lasting. They quickly formed an easy connection, passing the time at work with shared glances and playful teasing—often delivered through David’s lifeguard cone—reminding Katelynn to “walk, please” or pointing out trash she had missed. They dated on and off through high school and later navigated long distance as college took David in a different direction. In 2021, their lives changed in the best way when they welcomed their daughter, Blakley. Becoming parents strengthened their bond and shaped the life they’ve built together. Now, they’re looking forward to celebrating this next chapter, surrounded by the people they love most.
