Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve secured the following special rates at two hotels for our guests. We encourage you to book your room early to take advantage of these options. Rooms are limited, and while we may be able to add more, availability depends on when reservations are made. If you plan on attending, we recommend booking your room as soon as possible. Go to the Accommodations tab to find direct links to book. • DoubleTree: $275/night (including fees and taxes) • The Sebastian: $440 per night (including fees and taxes)

Question

Where do I fly into and how do I get to Vail?

Answer

There are two main airport options for traveling to our wedding in Vail: Denver International Airport (DEN): • Located about 120 miles east of Vail, typically a 2-2.5 hour drive. • Offers a wide variety of flight options from numerous airlines. Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE): • Located about 30 miles west of Vail, approximately a 45-minute drive. • Offers direct flights from some major cities, but fewer options than Denver. Transportation to Vail: • Shuttle services are available from both airports to Vail. We will have a discounted rate for airport transfers through Snowflake Limo. Please contact Matt Wilson with Snowflake Limo and reference the Haltzman/Gordon Wedding when booking your transportation: Matt Wilson 970-670-6029 snowflakelimo@gmail.com Peak 1 Express and Summit Express are other great options for shared airport transfers to Vail. Peak 1 Express: www.mountainshuttle.com Summit Express: www.summitexpress.com Renting a car is an option but not necessary for the wedding weekend. Vail is walkable, has good public transportation, and we will be providing transportation to all wedding activities.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding attire is black tie. Remember we are climbing up into the mountains above Vail, and it is sunny and delightful in the afternoon and gets chilly in the evening. While the wedding reception will be in a heated building, feel free to bring an extra layer. Given there are some gravel surfaces at the venue, we recommend block heels instead of stilettos or thin heels.

Question

How will I get to the welcome party and wedding venue?

Answer

The Welcome Party Guests @ Highline Vail Hotel: We will be providing a shuttle service that will depart at 6:30 PM. Guests @ The Sebastian or Elsewhere Vail Village: Walk 2-3 minutes to the venue The Wedding We will be providing a shuttle service which will leave from The Sebastian AND The Highline Vail Hotel. If you are not staying at either hotel, please board the shuttle at The Sebastian. NOTE: Shuttles are mandatory and guests are unable to drive to the wedding on their own.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer
