David and Jess met at the start of their sophomore year of high school. They became close friends during senior year, where they mostly flirted like fifth graders (picture lots of bantering, teasing, awkward high fives, and stolen glances). One late night during their senior trip, they finally shared their feelings for each other... After much convincing, and encouragement from friends and family, Jess agreed to a date with David soon after graduation. She played hard to get as much as possible, but she couldn't resist David's charm, patience, and gentle determination. They strengthened their relationship in all the ups and downs of dating throughout college. After over three years together, David completely surprised Jess when he proposed on November 23, 2025 - it was a purely joyful day! Their relationship has been full of fun, full of learning each other, and full of trusting God's plans. The two are so grateful for how the Lord has led and provided for them along their journey and trust that He will continue to as they enter marriage. A note from D&J: Thank you for playing a part in our story!! Each one of you has shaped and encouraged us in countless ways - whether as individuals or as a couple - and we're deeply aware of what a blessing it is to have such a large and wonderful support system.
