There is unfortunately an inherent risk in hosting a gathering during a pandemic, but we are doing what we can to mitigate that. We will be requiring all guests to wear masks at all times, both indoors and outdoors. The Mass is indoors, but seating will be spaced and our numbers are limited. Our dances will be outdoors in a park to keep indoor time to a minimum. Thus, even without a reception, we will still be able to celebrate these essential wedding traditions with you, just outside so everyone stays safe. Dress warm and pray for good weather! Beyond that, state regulations are ever changing, but we will be following them. The most significant of these regulations is the guest count restriction at our Church. We are limited to having 125 people in attendance, which is less than half of our original guest list. Thus many of you will only be able to join us on our wedding livestream, but we are so grateful to have the technology that allows us to still celebrate with you this way!
We are doing our best to make sure our wedding is as safe as can be, and we would really appreciate your help in that regard. The more we work together, the more we will be successful in protecting everyone's health. We would greatly appreciate it if you heighten your social distancing practices in the two weeks or even the month before the wedding. Please temporarily avoid gatherings, restaurants and bars, travel, public events, and other higher risk activities in the best interest of the health of your fellow guests. We will be doing just that. Finally, if you have any concern about coming, whether it be for the sake of your own health, because you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, because you cannot social distance in advance of the wedding, or because you are sick in any way yourself, we would humbly ask that you act in an abundance of caution and celebrate with us virtually on our livestream.
Please go to the tab "Schedule and Livestream Link" above to watch the livestream! The Mass starts at 1:30 and our Dances in the Park will start at 4. We would recommend logging on 15 minutes in advance of each event!
Feel free to dress up or have a drink that you can toast to while watching along online! We would especially love it if you could send us a picture of you watching the livestream so we can gather pictures of everyone we love on our wedding day!
First of all, only guests who received in-person invitations need to RSVP. We would love if we could hear from you by February 1, 2021! RSVPing early is especially important given the logistical complexities of COVID wedding planning. The sooner we hear back from you, the better! RSVP online by clicking "RSVP (In-Person)" above.
We would recommend the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick as it is incredibly close to St. Peter's Church where we will be getting married! We have included more information in the "Travel" tab above. A shuttle service from the hotel will be provided.
We are registered on Zola! Some items are cross-linked to other websites like Amazon to actually buy the item, but you will be able to find everything if you just click on the registry page above. We put it all in one place for your maximum convenience! Both cash gifts and physical gifts are welcome!
The Mass begins at 1:30, so please be there by 1:15 so everyone can be seated comfortably before we begin. Then, things can run smoothly and reverently! The bride and groom will be arriving at the park for dances and such at 4 PM. We would advise that you arrive at the park earlier, between 3:30 and 4, to allow time for parking and to make sure you are there on time as we will not be at the park for long.
Yes, there is parking available for both the Mass and the park. For the Mass, the bridal party and immediate family will park in the parking lot next to the church. All guests, please park in the Gateway Parking Garage on 7 Wall St, New Brunswick, NJ. Parking vouchers will be provided! Please pick one up after Mass. For the park, we will be meeting at a large pavilion with a parking lot beside it that should be sufficient for everyone!
We have noted specifically on your invitations if you may bring a date or kids, so please refer to that! In light of the coronavirus, we have needed to limit our guest count greatly, so while we would like to permit more plus ones and children, we cannot. We appreciate your understanding!
