What is the dress code?

Answer

Connecticut Casual! Just kidding (one for you Office fans). We strongly encourage cocktail attire with slacks, skirts, dresses, blouses or button-ups, dress shoes, etc. (no jeans please!).

Can I bring my kids? How about a plus one?

Answer

All of our invited guests will have their names stated on the envelopes for the save-the-dates and the invitations. When you go to RSVP, you will see these names spelled out and you can respond for these folks. We are sorry if you don't see a name you were expecting on the invitation, but our venue has a capacity limit. We do appreciate your understanding and we are excited to celebrate with you!

Is Seating Random?

Answer

We will have two distinguished ushers to seat you at the ceremony. After the ceremony, at the end of our cocktail hour, you will grab a place card with your name and table number on it for dinner and cake (the first portion of the reception).

What should I do about lodging? When should I RSVP?

Answer

These questions are answered on our "Travel" page and on our "RSVP" page respectively. To reiterate, our hotel is literally across the yard from Quivey's Grove (our venue), so it will be easy for our out-of-town guests to safely get to their room!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Quivey’s has a huge parking lot but you can also leave your car in the hotel parking lot and walk over if you are able to do so.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You can arrive 15-30 minutes beforehand, the ceremony starts promptly at 3. For more schedule questions see the “Schedule” page!

Can I take pictures or video during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is “unplugged”, as the hipsters say. Please be with us in the moment and silence your phones until cocktail hour. Our photographers and videographers will do an amazing job capturing the ceremony themselves. Thank you for your cooperation.
