It's the easiest way to get to the venue but centrally located to some of the best in the Catskills. A shuttle will be running from Spillian on Saturday. If you prefer they can pick you up for the ceremony or drop you off at the end of the night.
Flight
Air Travel
For those coming from outside of U.S., the two nearest international airports are John F. Kennedy (JFK) in Queens New York, or Newark International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey. From both airports it is an approximately 3 hour drive to the Catskills. For domestic flights, it is possible to fly into Syracuse or Albany, which is also about a 3 hour drive.
Rental Car
Cars and Carpooling
There isn't a direct train from NYC and the Catskills are still pretty devoid of Uber and taxis, so a rental car or carpool plan is important. It's easiest and cheapest to rent cars from the airport.
