We first met at Ralph Lauren, where Jena and I were working. What started by asking her to lunch, she politely declined, something about already having plans with her dad (a strong first-round defense on her part). It wasn’t until later when we actually spent time together outside of work that things really started to shift. A great conversation over dinner turned into something more, and just days later the world slowed down—so we did too, spending all our time together cooking, watching movies, and slowly realizing that sharing space means not understanding her reality TV choices to fully sitting down and watching them with her like it was always part of the plan. Through it all, we’ve been each other’s constant. From finding our favorite spot at S3 in Fort Lauderdale to celebrating milestone birthdays in Paris and traveling Europe, we’ve built a life full of unforgettable memories (and a shared talent for packing trips at the very last possible minute). David later proposed at Longwood Gardens, a place that meant so much to her and now we’re beyond excited to be getting married and welcoming our baby girl this August as we officially start our next chapter together.
