Our Story
Just over a year ago, in God's wisdom, Janae and David's lives were ripe for meeting when they both made their way to a mutual friend's beach birthday party. As they enjoyed a bonfire, sparks began to fly, and the themes of their lives displayed a common thread. They quickly bonded over their love for their community, the importance of family, fun poems, but above all, their love for Jesus.
David lost no time in asking Janae out, and they soon embarked on an exciting journey of dating, a growing friendship, and love, marked by the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus.
On February 16, on the beach where they met, David proposed, and Janae emphatically said yes in the pouring rain. As they prepare for marriage, David and Janae are honored to have you as an important part of their lives, and they look forward to celebrating the beginning of their covenant before God with you in July.
