I am so lucky to have Courtney as a sister! She can make everyone in a room laugh, is incredibly driven, and makes every adventure the most fun. I am so proud to watch her pursue her dream of full-time blogging (@courtandkelly) in New York City and part-time podcasting (#RelationshipGoals). Watching her over the past five years, I am pretty sure she can do anything she sets her mind to! I am incredibly blessed to have her stand beside me on my wedding day. If there is a Pop-A-Shot game at our wedding, you can catch Courtney (and Meredith for that matter!) dominating the field.

I peaked early with the first friend I made at Vandy! From day one, Jay was my ride or die, always there to make sure I didn't do anything too stupid, or at least to be there to laugh with me about it after the fact. I can always count on him for good advice, great directions, and a vote of confidence when I need it. We've got so many memories and I could not imagine doing this without him up there with me.

Meredith is the best littlest sister Courtney and I could have gotten! She has an incredibly quick wit, pursues her aspirations fearlessly, and is always ready to talk to you about a problem, no matter how small. She rounds out our sister trio perfectly and made the past 24 years anything but dull. I am so proud watching her progress through her career as a broadcaster and feel incredibly blessed to have her stand with me on this important day.

Luke's my brother more than friend! We lived together for 7 years and have shared so many memories. I miss our late night food runs and only having to go to the living room to find him. After being there for his and Sarah's wedding, I couldn't imagine standing up there without Steen beside me. I expect to see a signature Gwen/Steen hug on this big day!

I met Allie when we pledged the same sorority, Delta Gamma, at Indiana University. I can't imagine college without her hilarious humor, beautiful spirit, and fierce loyalty. After living together for years, I basically consider her my soulmate (sorry, David and Andrew!). More than that, I am eternally grateful that she and Andrew introduced David and I! Six months after Allie and Andrew moved to Raleigh, NC... David and I moved to Asheville, NC. We feel so lucky to have them close by!

My fraternity big brother, Andrew, has always been a mentor. From trips to Memphis, living in Chicago, and both moving to North Carolina, we've never been far apart. This wedding would not be happening if not for him and Allie introducing me to Gwen. It's a surprise we've survived all of our adventures and I hope we have many more. Namaste to all the trips and memories - past, present and future! Life is a gift!

I have known Kasie since her mom was our Brownie troop leader in first grade! Since that time, we have gone through so much of life together: high school, freshman year college roommates, embarking on our careers, and basically every life event in between. Friendships like Kasie's don't come along very often (seriously, she is so amazing!) and I will always feel beyond blessed to have gone through so much of life with her by my side. At the wedding, you can find her on the dance floor breaking it down!

Ian has been one of my best friend's since the fourth grade. We grew up in each other's homes: playing video games, watching sports, and laughing a lot. Whether it's a major trade, a movie preview, or someone we know does something dumb, we are laughing or sulking about it together. We've shared two decades of great memories, Knicks sadness, and JG Melons. I couldn't imagine this weekend without him there!

Kelly and I have been best friends since our Bright Elementary School days (age 6!). Kelly is one of the most fun-loving people I know and always the life of a party. (She also stuck around through those VERY awkward preteen years!). Kelly is truly one-of-a-kind and anyone that meets her instantly loves her. I am so happy to call you my friend over the past 21 years!

Whenever there's a plan or a scheme, Jake is the first person I call. One day we will start a business together and be moguls! From Vandy to Australia to pretty much every city in the US, we'll always be laughing over a drink, a basketball game, or a board game. We've had a lot of fun over the years and I'm certain Jake will be front and center on the dance floor!

Kayce and I also met in first grade at Bright Elementary School! Her friendship has been one of the longest constant's in my life. We went through all of K-12 together, were inseparable freshman year of college, joined the same sorority, and then moved to Chicago. She is truly an incredible friend and one of the biggest cheerleader's I have in life! Not to mention, she will talk to David about movies for hours. We both are so excited to have her standing up there on our wedding day!

After 3 years at Vandy, I was lucky enough to work with James at our first job! We always can find something to laugh about we've had too many fun times to try to list them. James is always ready to have fun and if it's not me and him doing something, he'll get Gwen to help him lead the charge. My Chubbies PIC, you are an incredible friend and I can't imagine Vandy or adult life without you!

After both being accepted to Purdue for pharmacy school in 2014, Jess and I randomly found each other on Facebook and decided to live together. This random encounter turned into three years as roommates and an incredible friendship. We even have the awards to prove it... we won the Best Friends Award superlative from our class during 4th year, as well as the BFF Newlywed's game our 2nd year! Jess can turn even the most boring experiences (i.e. pharmacy school) into a blast and I absolutely could not imagine four years of pharmacy school without her beautiful soul!

John was with me for almost every adventure in college. From Mims to Mardi Gras and everything in between, I am so happy we get to hang in Asheville now! John has always kept things interesting and has my back no matter what. John and I have spent thousands of hours discussing some of the most random things we can think of and I think that has made both of us better for it! I'm honored that John will be here!

Claire and I met in residency, she was a second year while I was a first year, and she quickly became one of my closest friends in Asheville! She is kind, loving, loyal, and fun- always up for an adventure. The majority of my favorite memories in residency and NC involve her. I am so lucky our lives crossed and even luckier to have met a lifelong friend in residency.

Justin's been my best friend since we were 6 years old. We spent 10 summers together at camp and I couldn't imagine getting married without him with me. Our bromance in high school was admired/judged by at least 5 people! From splitting cakes at JG to about 1000 games of Madden, we've always been there for the biggest moments in each others' lives. Every year I hear from Justin at midnight on my birthday and now I hope he adds my anniversary to the list. The ultimate optimist, he can always make me laugh, even though he still thinks the Giants will win the Super Bowl.

I met Olivia when I interviewed her for our residency program- we were cackling pretty loud which caused a noise complaint from a neighboring office... and the rest was history! She is hilarious, thoughtful, and kind, all the qualities you want in a friend. I am lucky to call her one of my mine! I look forward to all the crazy adventures we continue to have in life because she always brings the fun!

Max and I became friends our freshman year and he's had me laughing since day one! In any situation, we can look at each other and know what the other is thinking. In Chicago, we'd hit the GOAT or talk Power and I could always count on Max to join up for a good time! If it's been to long, I know Max will keep my Twitter active and send me something that keeps me laughing at work. Max is a great friend to both me and Gwen and I'm sure we'll be finding the best sandwich Cincy has to offer before the wedding!

The Real Heroes/Groomsmen
David and I also wanted to take a moment to recognize two very important people in our lives, Josh and Kyle (i.e. the boyfriends of Meredith and Courtney, respectively)! Truly the unsung heroes, Kyle and Josh have been along for this wedding planning ride with us by going to venue tours, scouting bands, etc. Rounding out 1/3 of the Seamon6, they are always down for a good time, trip to casino, graduation party (because there have been a lot!), and family gathering. Josh and Kyle round out our family in the most incredible way and we look forward to all the future memories! Having them stand beside David and I at our wedding is a no-brainer. We are lucky to have them in our lives.

Jake is my (Gwen!) only cousin on the Seamon side and the closest thing I will ever have to a little brother! I have watched him grow from a cute lil tyke to a very independent, intelligent young man. Even though he didn't follow in my tennis-playing footsteps, it was a blast to watch him follow in Meredith's theater ones! David and I both look forward to watching Jake continue to grow through adulthood!

Sherlock Kabbes! No matter where we are or how little there was to do, Kabbes and I could have a good time! We could play Xbox, watch a classic B movie, or walk through a mall and laugh for hours! Kabbes was there for everything at Vandy and it's great getting to see him when I'm back in NYC! This weekend wouldn't be the same without you and I'm honored you'll be with me to keep me laughing all weekend.

Matt is one of my (Gwen!) best friends from high school! Even while Matt continually tried to do cheerleader lifts with me (even though I am deathly afraid of heights!), we have grown up together! Matt has been my cheerleader (no pun intended) through ever aspect of life and I can't imagine not having him there for my wedding. Along with Kasie, you can also find Matt at the wedding breaking it down on the dance floor!

If I had a Consigliere, it'd be Peter. He's one of my best friends and my constant soundboard. Whether it's a GoT theory or life decision, I always appreciate Peter's thoughts or his ability to let me ramble until I get to the point. After college, Peter became part of the family, spending Thanksgiving with us while in NYC. I am so glad he's part of this amazing weekend and I know he'll make sure my ties on straight!
