We met through a group DM, and then David invited Gita to a letter-writing party he was throwing for political prisoners. That led to hanging out, which led to having conversations about we're doing here, which led to dating, which led to trips to the Smoky Mountains and declarations of love, which led to moving in together during the first pandemic summer because we couldn't stand not being able to see each other more, which led to learning about each other's cultures, supporting each other in a thousand different crises, and a connection that comes across once in a lifetime if you're lucky.
