It may have taken us a long time to meet, but the timing was just right. We met on March 2, 2019. It took around 4 dates for Dave to convince me I should give him a try. It took around two years for her to convince me to propose. At that time, we also knew we wanted to grow our family. So while I looked for that perfect ring, Luca decided he would come first! On the day that David proposed on the top of Soledad Mountain, we told our family we were expecting. Shocked is the best word to describe the news, especially as my family had probably lost hope for me by this point. Jokes aside, we feel blessed. We have found in each other our best friend. We allow each other to be our true individual selves, and together we are stronger for it. We know this is true love. I mean…. we made it through a pandemic lockdown! Probably because Giselle is a chef, but mostly because we have built our relationship with support, laughter, and love. And lots of good food. Our family of 4, David, Giselle, Jonah, and Luca, are so excited to share with you this weekend where we get to celebrate our forever union.
