We met in the fall of 2019 and quickly found ourselves spending all our free time together. We bonded over our love for the outdoors, planning epic travels, cooking delicious meals together, making corny jokes, and taking long walks through Costco. After 3 years, we decided that we liked each other enough to co-habitate and then 8 months later, David popped the question. We exchanged a gentleman’s handshake and agreed to make it permanent! David enlisted the help of Gini’s daughter, Ellise, and planned a beautiful and simple proposal on the beach in St. Simon’s Island, GA. It was a perfect moment involving a message in a bottle, a brief delay while Gini processed the moment, and definite declaration of “yes,” and a big kiss! There was even some applause from the lifeguards and other beach-goers. The moment was beautiful and perfectly us!
