José María Córdova International Airport (MDE)

Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (MDE) is the only international airport serving the city of Medellin. It is located in the municipality of Rionegro which is about 30-45 minutes outside of the city, depending on traffic. Transportation options from the airport to Medellin include Uber/Lyft, Taxi, Bus, or Car Rental. We recommend Taxi or Uber as both are safe and affordable options. A regular taxi from the airport to the city is usually about $80.000-100.000 COP including tip (about $20-25 USD).

Airbnb/Staying at another Hotel

While we'll be staying at Park 10 Hotel and encourage our guests to stay with us, we understand it is ultimately your choice where you decide to stay. If you prefer to stay in an AirBnB or a different hotel, we recommend you stay as close to the "Provenza" or "El Poblado" neighborhoods as possible so that you can join the group transportation from the Hotel Park 10. These neighborhoods are just under ten minutes apart by car, but offer unique differences. El Poblado is more of a residential neighborhood, think quieter and more spacious, but less walkable. Provenza is more of the party zone, which is highly walkable with bars, cafes, and shops lining the streets. However, it can get loud and hotels in this area are typically smaller, but still very unique. As with any tourist hotspot, it is safe and lovely, but you will want to be mindful of your surroundings when walking around. Group transportation will be provided from Hotel Park 10 to our wedding events. Please don't hesitate to reach out to either of us if you have further questions.
