We're so excited to celebrate with you!!

Dave and Erin were both giving online dating another chance. They figured one more look before taking a break. Dave saw Erin's profile and her smile caught his eye and he figured what do I have to lose? Erin thought the same thing; hopefully good conversation and maybe a free meal? During vacation in CO Erin's phone broke and she thought she had to find a way to get in touch with Dave or he will think she ghosted him. After a few weeks of messages back and forth, Erin was just coming back from vacation and had a free night before driving back to WI to work for the weekend. We decided to meet in Maple Grove for Mexican food. The food was great, and the company was the best part. It felt as though we were long lost friends catching up but it was our first time meeting. We both knew that it was worth the wait.

We took a long weekend to Door County, WI. Our first stop was to Lambeau field when Erin tried to convert Dave to be a Packer fan. He still supports his Vikings, but was impressed with the stadium. Oh well, rivalry makes for fun football games! Back on the road; we found a few light houses and a state park to go on walk. We went off the beaten path and found our own lookout and we were getting ready to leave and Dave wanted to take one last picture. Then Erin hears, "Wait, come here!" Erin turns around to see Dave on one knee asking if I would marry him! Of course I said yes! We went to a fancy dinner to celebrate this new journey!

When Dave and Erin first met, Dave was living in Burnsville, MN and Erin was living in Sparta, WI. Not only did distance add flair to this relationship; Erin was working night shifts. Dave drove down to Sparta on the weekends Erin didn't work to spend time together. We went on many adventures together. Traveling and spending time together is one of our favorite things to do! Erin had the opportunity to work temporarily in Rochester, MN. Erin thought this would be a great opportunity to see what working days would be like. Dave came down to Rochester one night a week and to Sparta on the weekends. Erin had an opportunity to continue working in Rochester. Erin and Dave found a townhome they could call "theirs" and moved Thanksgiving weekend 2019.
