No! We invite you to sit on either side of the sanctuary during the ceremony, and sit at any table during the reception. We are bringing our families together, and invite you to sit where you feel most comfortable!
Yes! The 17th Annual Sanford Health Fargo Marathon will be going on the week of September 20th. The main race will take place on the morning of Saturday, September 25th, starting at 7:00 AM. There will be race and marathon events going on all week here in Fargo, including the night before (Friday, September 24th). We don’t anticipate this causing a change of plans for the wedding and reception. However, due to the multitude of runners from around the country coming to the Fargo Marathon, we have booked rooms for our out-of-town guests in South Fargo. Be sure to watch for detours, as the race route may affect travel in town.
Usually, the weather in September is a mix of summer and fall. September is more of a transition month; we're coming out of hot and humid and we're gearing up for cool and rainy. With that being said, we encourage you to bring clothes for both hot and cooler weather!
We're honored that you're making such a trek to be at our wedding and we can't wait to see you! It's 6 of one, half dozen of the other; it's cheaper to fly into Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP), but you'd have to get a rental car and make the 3.5 hour drive to Fargo. On the other hand, it will cost more (roughly $350 more) to fly directly into Fargo (FAR).
No. For the most part, all COVID rules and regulations have been dropped as of the spring of 2021, statewide. There are a few establishments around Fargo that still require guests to wear masks, but for the most part, you're able to walk around with a naked face! We will, however, continue to update our guests via our Zola website should COVID conditions change.
