Yes. Due to the health risks posed by the virus, we request that all guests be fully vaccinated prior to joining us. Please let us know if you have extenuating circumstances. Please also note that for any guests who live outside of Canada the vaccine will likely be necessary for travel anyway.
We're keeping an eye on this and will keep you posted as to our plans as things develop. We will not hold a wedding that puts the health of our loved ones at risk. If you are reading this right now, the wedding is still on with all the details on this site.
Please RSVP as soon as possible! We understand that COVID makes planning ahead tricky, but our venue is intimate, so the sooner we know our guest count the better we can plan.
We did our best to include everyone we could, but due to the size of our venue we request that you don't increase the size of your party beyond the guests specifically included on your invitation. Please reach out to us directly if you have questions.
Our Friday welcome event & Sunday brunch will be kid-friendly*, but Saturday's wedding & reception will only be for adults. The hotel has childcare options, but please also let us know if you plan to bring the whole family up for the weekend — we are looking into possible group kid-care options for Saturday afternoon & evening. * Well, kids will be allowed in. There probably won't be legos or anything, sorry!
The Fairmont Banff Springs is pet-friendly! The only dog allowed at the ceremony, however, will be Zermatt (and even he won't be allowed at the other events of the weekend). Please see the hotel's policy page for other important details: banff-springs-hotel.com/explore/guest-services

Saturday's wedding events are black tie optional. Please also remember that the ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and at this time of year Banff may be cold. There will be blankets on the chairs, but we still recommend you bring something to keep warm!
All events will be held at the hotel, which you can book at a discounted rate using the code PWED. If you stay at the hotel, no transportation will be required. The town of Banff also has many lodging options and is just ~2km away, but we are not planning to provide transportation from the town to wedding events.
