Back in 2023, Elizabeth got a text from one of her best friends and now bridesmaid Anna and all that was said was "are you into blue collar men?". After replying "depends on the guy", Anna and her husband Gabe connected Elizabeth and David and shortly after they decided to meet up for breakfast for the first time. You know the first date is a success when the restaurant kicks you out for taking too long because you just couldn't stop talking. 7 months of creating memories and getting to know each other flew by but at a certain point, Elizabeth and David actually decided it was best to go their separate ways and actually break up. But praise be to God that the story doesn't stop there. After 3 months of zero communication, and doing a lot of reconnecting with Jesus, we won't say who exactly (*cough cough* David) but SOMEONE reached out to the other wanting to talk. From there, it was evident to both David and Elizabeth that this was a relationship that was from the Lord. So much so, that 2 months into their new relationship, David and Elizabeth first went to look at rings. Then a few months later, in November, David popped the question and Elizabeth experienced the best day of her life filled with so much love. Our story isn't traditional, and some of you reading may not have even known that David and I had broken up for a brief time, but this is our story, and we love it. All glory goes to God for how much he has redeemed this relationship and has truly turned it into something so beautiful! Here's to the next chapter!
