Even though the wedding ceremony is on a Sunday afternoon, if you are able to join us, we have activities planned on Friday and Saturday! We recommend that you book your accommodations sooner than later to ensure that you will have a place to stay nearby.

Our story began with a blind date on July 18, 2011 that was arranged by Maggie Ray. We bonded over our appreciation of Tina Fey & 30 Rock, The Today Show and our menagerie of dogs. That Summer, we got to know each other and became quite the pair. As 2012 approached, we decided to merge our two households and created our version of the Brady Bunch….two dads, three Golden Retrievers and two Australian Shepherds. That’s how we became the ‘House of Davon’.

We always joked with each other who was going to propose to who. Of course, we each had our reasons for the other one to pop the question. After getting ‘permission’ from Don’s sisters, David decided to propose on our trip to Italy. He set the most romantic scene overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the terrace of our hotel on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. He cried, then I cried and the other hotel guests cheered.
