We’re getting married!

DU: He ran by my house for a year. I never thought anything. Even though I’d run out and yell “David! Hi!” DG: I knew Delfina was living in the red house and ran by there 2 times a week, but I still didn’t know what was coming. DU: We played soccer every week for a year. I never thought anything. Even though I ran his fan club on the field because he was the *only* kind MVP treating us amateurs with respect. DG: Playing soccer with her on Friday mornings was fun and special. It was always more joyful when she was on my team, but I never thought of more. DU: I worshipped next to him 4 days a week for a year at the Bethel prayer tents. I never thought anything. I was busy dancing with my tambourine and he was very focused on Jesus. DG: We stood next to each other in front of the stage worshipping together. She danced before God and I enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere with Jesus, not knowing she could be the one. DU: Then God found a million little subtle ways (and a few blatant ways) to open our eyes to SEE each other as more than friends, help us fall in love and well, now the rest is unfolding one day at a time. DG: Then God opened my eyes in one moment to see Delfina with love. Date after date we began getting to know each other in friendship and built a deep relationship filled with joy and heavenly light. David — your love is energizing, purifying, electrifying, defying every boundary of categorized thinking I’ve ever subscribed to. Your love for all things good, noble, right, true, and pure have released me into trusting God even more. His plans, His ways, & His wild, unimaginable, untamable, unexplainable idea of what true love (and romance) can be. Delfina – you bring beauty into my life. Your love is filled with a thousand ideas to love me more and more. You love all of me. Your love is life changing. Getting to know God more through you is incredible. Your love is always there. Your love brings the best out of me. You are the love of my life.
