What is the best way to get to the ceremony and reception? Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The best way to arrive at City Hall is by using private transportation so you do not need to find parking! Uber, Lyft, or taxis are great options. The SF City Hall is also walking distance to the MUNI (subway), with the closest station being Civic Center Station. The reception venue is a short 15-minute drive from the City Hall, as well as on the same block as the Embarcadero subway station. The ceremony at the San Francisco City Hall has limited metered street parking. There is an underground parking garage located across the street below City Hall Plaza. Enter at 355 McAllister Street. As for the reception at One Market Restaurant, there is street parking, as well as a number of parking lots within a couple blocks of the venue. Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail Attire. Dress your best and keep in mind that San Francisco in March is still chilly, so we recommend a jacket/coat.
