Corie and Dave met a little bit by luck and a little bit by the ever reliable match.com algorithm. In November 2022, a mere 9 months after Corie moved to Akron, Ohio, she was getting ready to let her Match profile expire for the holidays. In a move of chance, Corie messaged the cute guy she’d been talking to from Parma her phone number and said “Use it if you want, but I’m letting my profile expire.” A few hours later, she got a message from Dave. A week later, they had their first date on December 12, 2022 at Musketeers Bar and Grill in Richfield and the rest is history.
