We are coming together to celebrate with David(AKA Pealicker/Roadrunner) and Colleen Kelly on 50 years of Holy Matrimony

They met in March 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio. David introduced himself as Road Runner. This was the name his coworkers gave him. He was a truck driver that had relocated from Alabama to Cleveland in 1969. Colleen, who had only been in the city of Cleveland for a few months, had relocated to Cleveland from West Virginia. They began to see each other on a regular basis. Dinner, social events with friends, dates at Lake Erie just to watch the people fishing and boats go by. David eventually asked Colleen to marry him. David was 26 and Colleen was 24. Not knowing what real marriage was about, they promised themselves that they would only do this once. They came together and wedded before God with friends and family on September 21, 1974 at Progressive Baptist Church in Cleveland Ohio They both experienced good years, not so good years, full years and thin years, but they learn to lean on each other and trusted God and their promise. Which lead them here 50 years later David and Colleen have both changed within fifty years of marriage, both physically, mentally and of course spiritually. Within the tapestry of this journey, love has been woven into the fabric of their marriage. Just like any fine jewel, it is a process and a long but successful process. “To God be the Glory”.
