David and I had both felt that we had gotten to a point in our lives where it was getting harder and harder to meet that some one special. We had both turned to the website Match.com. After having no luck for quite some time, we had both almost given up and cancelled our subscriptions. Then one day in January of 2018 I received a from a dtman209 asking me what the perfect day looked like. I felt a little skeptical about answering, but nine days later, I responded. That first question led messaging back and forth. After a few days, he asked me for my phone number so we could text back and forth instead of having to continuously check match.com for messages there. I gave him my phone number and decided it was time to ask for his name. The first text I received said his name was Tinajero and as I had not met him at this point I got a little nervous. (Who names their child Tinajero as a first name?... Was he really a girl?...) All kinds of thoughts were going through my head. I thankfully checked back on Match.com to see if I missed something and to my relief I found that his first name was not Tinajero, but in fact David. (You could imagine my relief). On Valentine's Day, as I was getting ready for school David texted me and asked if I would be his Valentine. As I was on my way to school we decided that it would be a good idea to finally meet in person. So later that afternoon, I met David for the first time at Starbucks on Briggsmore and Prescott in Modesto. He showed up with flowers for me and told me that he also he bought his mom flowers. From that moment I was smitten. We had our first date going bowling at McHenry Bowl five days later and have been inseparable since then. He suprised me and popped the question with a puzzle and our wedding flowers after leading me through a scavenger hunt around the house. Everything was so thought out; it was perfect. I cannot wait to start this journey with the perfect man that God has placed with me. I love you Honey! -Cindy
