Chelsea first met David when she was seven years old, after his family moved into her neighborhood, Wallace Woods. She’d often spot him hanging around at the house when he came over to visit her parents, Chuck and Lisa—usually while David and Chuck discussed cars or watched Georgia football. Needless to say, young Chelsea immediately labeled him as “the annoying neighbor up the street.” David even went as far as bringing over a dead snake to scare Lisa with, thinking he was funny. Fast forward years later, when David came to Atlanta for a visit. The two reconnected over dinner and quickly realized that the once-annoying neighbor had somehow transformed into a slightly charming, (less annoying) man. When Chelsea later moved to Charleston, the timing wasn’t quite right, and they went their separate ways—but never too far apart. Over the next ten years, they stayed in touch remaining good friends. Proving that some connections don’t fade. When fate finally got its act together, Chelsea and David found their way back to each other—this time knowing without a doubt the timing was right.
