We Did It!

One hot summer night of birthday celebration led the Lady to "that Guy". It was two years later before they became an item. There were predictions of longevity from two weeks to a couple months. Now another twenty years later, we're still here. The first proposal, of many, was across a room with Cuba Gooding singing in the background. The last was that memorable moment in Jamaica; he dropped on his knee and, finally, got a yes. The rain pouring down on an open air room was totally different and unpredictably romantic. Age is "just" a number where love is the key. Sharing, consistency, communication, commitment, consideration and date nights helped along the way. Yup, we're still here. Oh, it was once said that getting married ever again was not happening. Never say never!
