It all started at Georgia Tech. I had heard of the student ministry, Chi Alpha, through my friend Mervyn. He brought me and some friends to the flag football intramural championship game (a big deal to David)!! From there, I became a regular at Chi Alpha and got involved with their intramural teams. David and I got to know each other quickly through intramurals, lunch at the Wesley house, and time spent with friends! We learned about our mutual love of music, The Office, and of course, Jesus! It wasn't until David came to my kitchen haircut salon, that things got moving. David realized I was single after dropping some not so subtle hints and took his shot to tell me how he felt. From there it's all history and we have never looked back!

In the fall of 2022, while playing in an intramural football game at Georgia Tech, I saw this tall, gorgeous girl standing next to a couple of my friends and I thought, "Woah... Who... Is... That?" A couple days later I find out that she would be on our intramural volleyball team. At that point, I thought she had a boyfriend (I overheard incorrectly) so I kept my distance. After a couple months of talking and becoming friends I realized that I was starting to like her a lot. It was around this time that she offered to cut my hair in her apartment. There, she mentioned to one of our friends that she was ready to be set up, at which point it all hit me that she had been single all along. From there, it seemed as though we were on a collision course all culminating on February 28, when I told her that I had feelings for her.
