November isn't peak tourist season so you can book as early as now or wait until the summer to start looking. Make sure your passport is valid and you will need to apply for a visa to enter Vietnam through the Vietnam Consulate. Renewing your US passport can take up to 2 months, and applying for a visa can take up to 2 weeks so please plan ahead. Our travel agent can help: https://www.facebook.com/baotrantravel/
Our wedding is on Nov 23rd but from Nov 20 - 22 we have activities planned for everyone and we will cover all expenses. We care about the experiences we have with our guests and we want to make sure our family/friends are taken care of. If you can only make it to the wedding day we completely understand!

This includes hotel, transportation, food, and entertainment. If you are traveling with family/friends, we will cover them as well. We will send an online form via email to capture total headcount.
We know some of you may take this opportunity to make this a family trip, so we want to welcome your family and friends to our wedding as well! We will send an online form via email to capture your group headcount and additional information.
Like any other popular tourist destinations (Cancun, Thailand, NYC, etc.) there are areas and things to watch out for. Vietnam is super convenient with all the latest apps to get around, modern with 5 star hotels/restaurants/hospitals, and many foreigners from Europe, Japan, and Korea have made it their home. Do not show off your wealth and be aware of your surroundings. It is hot and congested but we will travel by car and stay indoor with AC.
If you are arriving before Nov 20th, you should exchange money at the airport for a taxi to your destination. Don't exchange a lot, $100 is enough and only use Mai Linh or Vina Sun Taxi. Jewelry stores near Benh Thanh market will have the best rates so you can exchange more later. Keep in mind credit card is accepted everywhere except street vendors. If you are arriving on Nov 20th we will have transportation for you, do not exchange money at the airport.
Wi-Fi is available in most places. SIM cards are also available, but only for unlocked phones. If you need a local SIM card, please inform us in advance so we can assist with registering one for you. Local SIM cards allow you to access data and have a local Vietnam number. If you just want data, eSIMS are available through this website below. https://www.getnomad.app/shop
If you are traveling within the city then download Grab, it's just like Uber. If you want to travel to other cities then you can look into flights and buses. Let us know and we'll help you.
