We're getting married!

He swiped right, she swiped right. A tale as old as 2014. In the fall of 2023, David opened his phone to find that this beautiful girl had liked him back on the dating app, Hinge. It didn’t take long to figure out they had a lot in common and wanted to meet up! Not known to show up early, Dave arrived promptly at 6pm — a rarity. Cara, chronically late, was a meager 30 minutes behind schedule… due to a “traffic jam.” After a couple of drinks and a flat bread pizza, the two made their way to Top Golf, and to Dave’s amazement — the girl was pretty good! That night, he discovered Cara’s family was originally from Wisconsin and Iowa — proud Packers fans too. Why it took Dave almost 2.5 more years to propose after hearing that information, we may never know! Also discovered on that first date was the fact they had coinciding trips to Bar Harbor, Maine in the coming weeks! After a couple more dates, mostly revolving around bruschetta plates and country music concerts (Diamond Rio!!) the two met on their trips to the Northeast, much to the chagrin of Dave’s cousin, John, his travel companion. In a small bar, watching the Minnesota Wild play hockey, Dave asked Cara to be his girlfriend — they were finally official! Over the past 2.5 years Dave and Cara have made countless, amazing memories together, growing their relationship and love for one another along the way! Their preferred love language is quality time and love traveling together. A near lifetime of experiences have been made on their trips to Key West, Austin, Scottsdale, Big Sur, Jackson Hole, Thailand, and so many places in-between. The couple purchased a hardsided pop-up camper last summer — and intend keep things more local this year, it’s their new favorite place to relax and spend time together in God’s creation! - To our guests - Thanks for being a part of this adventure, as we prepare to move into an exciting, unknown, and loving phase of our lives!
