Barn Bluff (Dakota: He Mni Can) is a bluff along the Mississippi River. The bluff is considered sacred by the Dakota people because it is the site of many burial mounds. You’ll want to take it at a slow pace due to its steady climb. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
The Red Wing Shoe Company Museum showcases the big boot, Wall of Honor, and the history and heritage of Red Wing Shoes, complete with original Norman Rockwell illustrations and a virtual tour through the factory. The museum is free and open seven days a week, located inside the flagship Red Wing Shoes retail and outlet store in downtown Red Wing, Minnesota.
Enjoy views of Lake Pepin as you hike along the wooded slopes of this park. Be sure to bring your binoculars. This is one of the best places in the US to view birds, including bald eagles, migrating every spring and fall along the Mississippi Flyway. Camping is available in some form or another year-round and the park offers 13 miles of hiking trails.

36 holes of golf! This site offers two unique 18-hole courses with differing golf experiences. The Lowlands is a traditional course with rolling hills and large greens. The Highlands is a scenic and visually challenging course that offers many vistas of the river valley. Both courses are a fun test of golf.
