Our love story began with Bumble, a silly app where the simple act of swiping left or right is supposed to lead you to your perfect partner. In our case, it worked! His profile included a picture of a striking guy and his golden retriever and hers a story of dental hygiene school and teaching at a gym. We decided to meet at the Loft in Edmonds for happy hour. Our first date lead us on a beautiful journey that keeps us falling in love with each other every day.

Throughout our relationship we have traveled over to Crescent Bar in Eastern Washington on various occasions. This place has brought us many fun memories including wine tasting, playing in the sun, and relaxing on cold winter days. It wasn’t suspicious when DJ recommended a trip over to Crescent Bar to close out the Summer. DJ suggested getting dressed up for dinner and wine at Cave B Winery. After arriving we walked the grounds and ended at a picturesque stone patio overlooking the Columbia River. It was quiet and nothing around except for a wine barrel and a dozen roses in a glass vase. Moments later, I was looking over my shoulder to find our parents huddled in the distance watching as DJ got down on one knee. We were thrilled to be engaged and to share this special moment with our parents!
