June 11, 2024 will mark David & Bernadette's 10 year anniversary. On this special day, family & friends will witness the two finally tie the knot! We kindly request the presence of adult guests only.

We first met at the Crowne Plaza hotel in February 2014 on David’s first day on the job. David was taking a tour of the hotel and met Bernadette working in Sales. Bernadette eventually picked up a few shifts working at Guest Services, where we started to get to know each other. One day, David built up the courage to ask for Bernadette's number and ask her out on a date, to which she said “ok”. Our first date was dinner at a sushi restaurant and a drive-in movie. We went on a couple of dates after this and on June 11, we decided to make our relationship official.

On September 11, 2022, we thought we would have a lazy Sunday after having a long day of being out from the day before. We cleaned the apartment, cooked, and napped. When we woke up from our nap, David asked Bernadette if we could walk the 2-mile trail near our apartment. Bernadette said yes and we both got dressed in comfy clothing. David knew at this point, he wanted today to be the day he proposed. He made sure to keep Bernadette on his left side to avoid her from noticing the ring box on his right pocket during the walk. At the end of the 2-mile trail, he went down on one knee and proposed! The timing was perfect because we were the only ones on the trail and the sun was setting.
