David and Aviv met the way all great love stories begin: over ice cream in Miami during a global pandemic. In December 2021, David escaped New York's chaos for some sun and sanity, and Aviv was working for El Al while finishing law school remotely. Immediately, David was enraptured by Aviv's warmth, kindness, and willingness to try new things. Aviv was impressed by David's intelligence, wit, and confidence. When they met, Aviv was scheduled to move to Chicago, but David, being the skilled lawyer that he is, convinced him to stay for another year to see where things went. After a year of sunshine, lazy beach days, and no taxes, it was time to face reality back in New York. David and Aviv's first trial together was building their home in Brooklyn, where, amid construction dust and asbestos, David proposed. Since then, the physical and emotional home they built together has been filled with endless love, international adventures, and bickering over kitchen cabinet colors. So here we are, ready to say "I do", and we can’t wait to celebrate this journey with all of our favorite people in Israel!
