We met through a mutual friend, Nate one of our groomsmen. Thanks Nate! Ashley met Nate while working at Bay Beach and David was friends with him in high school. The first time we met was at a college party and Ashley walked in to pick up Nate and found David biting into a literal candle. She was very confused but didn’t forget that. Then we were officially introduced at a party at David’s house and after a while of hanging out with him, Ashley said to Katie, one of our bridesmaids, “that’s a guy I could marry” disregarding our initial candle incident. We became really good friends after that. David ended up working at bay beach with us. Guillmero, David’s dad, at one point asked him when we were going to have little grandkids so they can come play in his yard, way before we were dating, apparently he just knew. When we first started dating we ended up with a rescue dog that really needed a home and she was pregnant with 4 puppies! A few years later we had our first little guy Ezra and a few years after that we had Ryker. We’ve finally decided to make this thing official 😉
