David and Annelise met in 2022 during the first day of college. He was a mountain boy and she was a small town girl, both out on their own in a new city for the first time. Living in the same apartment building, they formed a strong friendship. From grocery trips and late night food runs to study sessions and Lake Shore drives, David and Annelise quickly became good friends. Their friendship only grew, and in 2024 David and Annelise realized that there may be more to their friendship. In August 2024 David asked Annelise on a date and they became boyfriend and girlfriend on August 25, 2024. Less than a year later, David asked Annelise to marry him and it was the easiest yes of her life. Best friends truly do make the best lovers.
