We respect that the pandemic has affected many people's outlook on travel and large gatherings, and understand if that affects your decision to attend.
The wedding vow renewal ceremony and reception will be at Salvatore’s Ristorante in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, with the reception immediately following.
Hotel Versey is a half-mile from the venue. Otherwise you can book any hotel or Airbnb in the city, just keep in mind that if you're booking on the North Side the Cubs are playing at home that weekend so things may book up quickly!
Chicago is easiest to move about by taxi or with apps like Uber/Lyft. The CTA is our public transit system and is easy to navigate using Google/Apple Maps. Bus routes are numbered and “L” train lines are named by color. You can get a Ventra card/ticket at any “L” station and load it with a 1-Day pass, a 3-Day pass, or a dollar amount. You can also pay-as-you-go using some contactless bank cards and mobile wallet apps (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). If you drive, budget time for traffic and parking. Valet parking will be available at the ceremony/reception. Lincoln Park is a very walkable neighborhood. Restaurants, stores, parks, and coffee shops are always nearby. It’s also a very safe neighborhood. As always, exercise common sense, remain aware of your surroundings, and look both ways before you cross the street!
