This is a great hiking and picnic spot that's been popular since the 1850's! It has amazing views looming almost 800 feet over the city skyline, Lake Austin and the Colorado River. We suggest going up there during sunset, it's beautiful! P.S. You might even be able to spot Matthew McConaughey's house from up there!
This is a scenic trail on the Colorado River goes through lush green parks and a peaceful cooling pond. This 10 mile long trail is a great place to bike, hike and run with a fantastic view of Downtown Austin. This is an awesome way to clear your mind and to workout while in Austin.
