Allison and David crossed paths many times before beginning their romantic relationship in 2015. Both attended Passaic Valley High School, although they knew very little of one another at that point. Allison's one memory of David in High School was standing behind him on the lunch sandwich line, when he turned around to say hello, and continued to explain that most people thought he looked like David Beckham - that is when she knew. Allison and David both went on to attend college, where they began years of friendship. That friendship flourished into love, and the rest was history!

After David & Allison's 3 month stint in London, David decided it was time. Being the romantic he is, he decided to take Allison to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens - he knew how much Allison loved flowers. Upon arriving at the Gardens, to both of their surprise, there happened to be a huge Chili Festival there that day. Allison & David were greeted by human chili peppers on stilts as they entered. Allison immediately beelined it for the chili dog stand, which ultimately ended up all over her shirt. After hours of walking and looking at the gorgeous flowers and vegetation, David found the perfect spot under a beautiful oak tree. Allison said yes.
