Whether this is your first time in Portland or your 100th, definitely make your way to old port. Wander the brick streets, hunt for a treasure at one of the many thrift stores, indulge in a lobster roll (or 2) and check out the amazing bakeries and cafes.

A favorite of Allie's - this diner style eatery is all about lobster. This fun spot delivers on the classics but has dozens of other creative lobster dishes that'll have you wanting to order the whole menu.
The Holy Donut
The Holy Donut is home to the famous Maine potato donut. This is the perfect place to start your day or grab a mid-afternoon snack.
Portland Head Light & Fort Williams Park
If this is your first visit to Portland, ME then you don't want to miss the iconic Portland Head Light. It's a quintessential New England icon and the surrounding land makes for a beautiful space to explore and get some activity and fresh air.
Eastern Promenade
The two-mile Eastern Promenade Trail is Portland’s finest harbor-side stroll offering unparalleled views of Casco Bay and Portland Harbor, as well as abundant opportunities for public recreation and enjoyment in all four seasons.
Thrifting & Vintage Shopping
Portland is home to dozens of incredible vintage and thrift stores and is a favorite day trip of ours when we're looking to hunt for new clothes. Take a walk down any of the streets in the Old Port and you'll stumble upon at least one.
