Things To Do

Lockerbie Pub

Lockerbie Pub

631 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202
, (317) 631-9545

Lockerbie Pub is David & Abby's favorite dive bar in downtown Indy. Its a good place to watch a game, play pool, or just get together with friends in a cozy atmosphere. They have great food and good prices. It's a real hole in the wall that David & Abby have grown to love!

St. Joseph Brewery

St. Joseph Brewery

540 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204
, (317) 602-5670

Saint Joseph Brewery and Public House was established in 2015 but it was originally the parish of St. Joseph, established by the Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis in 1873. David lived next door to this brewery for 2 years. Since it is a renovated church, a common refrain to David's family was that they were "attending church" on a Friday or Saturday night.

Café Patachou

Café Patachou

225 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204
, (317) 632-0765

Cafe Patachou is loved by all. Go here for top-of-class breakfast and lunch — omelettes prepared with truly farm-fresh Indiana eggs, salads and sandwiches featuring locally sourced produce and proteins, house-made soups and desserts, and up-market coffee. Abby took David here for one of his first breakfasts in Indianapolis. Abby has always loved the place, and after one visit, so did David. Perfect place for coffee, mimosas, breakfast, or lunch!

Harry & Izzy's

Harry & Izzy's

153 Illinois Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225
, (317) 635-9594

If you're up for something a little fancier, Harry & Izzy's is the sister restaurant to the famous St. Elmo's Steakhouse. It is an independent, upscale American grill with three locations in Indianapolis. Décor is designed to resemble the look and feel of a speakeasy style lounge shortly after the repeal of prohibition in December of 1933. Abby & David celebrate the Holiday season here every year with their famous shrimp cocktail and steaks. Fun fact: Harry & Izzy's is Co-owned by Peyton Manning.

Mass Ave

Mass Ave

401 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204

Mass Ave is downtown Indy's trendy arts and theater district. Visitors will find a free-spirited cultural district filled with independently owned restaurants, night spots, shops, galleries and theaters. Delicious meals are found at BRU Burger, Bazbeaux Pizza, or The Eagle. Stop in for a little jazz at the Chatterbox (one of David & Abby's favorite Friday night spots), shop at unique stores such as Silver in the City, or grab a HUGE cupcake at The Flying Cupcake Bakery. There is plenty to do within walking distance here!
