RESERVATIONS: Please mention that you are booking the reservation to the wedding. Roberta&David’s 09/26 RATES: Room rates are subject to a 8% New York sales tax, and a 3% county room tax. Nightly room rates are for single or double occupancy. In rooms that accommodate more than two people, additional guests are billed $50 per person, per night. Room rates include an off-site breakfast. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. Let us know if you need to make alternate arrangements for check-in or check-out times. CANCELLATIONS: Because The Essex Inn has only 12 rooms/suites, cancellations affect us dramatically. We require 60 days notice for cancellation. Cancellations made more than 60 days in advance of arrival date will be fully refunded less a $75 processing fee. For cancellations made within the 60 day period, we regret that no refund will be issued unless we are able to secure another reservation for the room.

If you are not able to come on Thursday or Friday to have some pre-celebration with us. This is a hotel very close to the wedding venue.

Train

Port Henry Station - 69 Adirondack

If you are coming by train, it’s very important to book the trip in advance. The train runs ONLY once a day, and it sold out very fast. The train departure from NYC at 7am arriving at Port Henry at 2pm.

Amtrak Westport Station - 69 Adirondack

For our friends who would be able to come few a days before the wedding and will stay in Essex, NY. There is a Westport Train ONLY once a day, departures are 8am and arrives at 2pm. PS - It sold out very fast so it’s important to book in advance.
