Hoe Promenade
A breath-taking panorama, no trip to Plymouth is complete without a visit to Plymouth Hoe. With unbeatable views across Plymouth Sound, it’s the perfect place to spend a sunny day, enjoying a picnic on the grass or taking a dip in the art deco Tinside Lido.
Salcombe Harbour
If your staying down for the weekend we fully recommend visiting Salcombe, its about a 45 min drive from Plymouth. Salcombe is close to the mouth of the Kingsbridge Estuary, mostly built on the steep west side of the estuary. It lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & break taking beaches!!
Royal William Yard
Superbly located between the River Tamar and Plymouth Sound, Royal William Yard provides breath-taking views. It boasts an array of both local and more widely known eating and drinking experiences including Bistrot Pierre, Wildwood, Wagamamas, Las Iguanas, Seco Lounge, Le Vignoble and Prezzo.
Barbican
Barbican is an energetic waterside neighbourhood laced with quaint cobblestone lanes. Restaurants overlooking the small boats in Sutton Harbour serve locally caught seafood, and buzzing pubs put on live music and show televised sports.
