We both went to school at Appalachian State University, but we actually met on OKCupid! After messaging each other for a couple of weeks, we decided to hang out in person. Our first date was at Espresso News - a wonderful coffee shop in the quaint downtown of Boone, NC. After that day, we basically never stopped hanging out! In each other, David and Julie truly found their best friend. Looking back, Julie realized David was someone she could spend her life with early on in their relationship. They were pet-sitting a friend's dog, watching her zoom back and forth from the hallway to the living room of the apartment. Julie--who we all know is always ready to laugh--loved that David was right there cracking up alongside her.
